Learning Objectives

Students will ask questions about how our world works and finding the answers. Students will investigate using mathematics and computational thinking while planning and carrying out investigations of the Sun. Students will analyze and interpret data collections, and will construct models and explanations about the cause and effect of the position of the Earth, Moon, and Sun. Students will predict upcoming solar or lunar events based on patterns. Students will communicate and explain seasons and how the Sun gives energy and drives systems on Earth. Students will plan and present their findings at a STEAM Fair for the entire school, community, and parents.
