Learning Objectives

Students will design a method for monitoring and minimizing a human impact on the environment. Students will learn how each of the variables identified affects the life in a stream and will learn about water runoff, pollution. Students will ask questions and investigate possible answers.

  • Classroom set of Vernier interfaces (x5) to measure temperature, flow rate, pH, nitrate, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, and phosphate sensor
